The shadow of Meowth along the floor is a nice touch and I also have to say I do like how some of the purple from the attack he is holding is mixed in with the shading. The only problem is it looks more like a purple fire attack based on the lining and how it pokes upward  like flame which reminds me off my very own type of fire that I like to call Dark Fire or Devils Fire as it is more well known. The thing about Shadow balls is they are more spherical with individual strands  that look like black or white lightning, static or vein like strands protruding outward and around  the orb. I hope this is the kind of constructive criticism your looking for my fellow coworker and Intern.
