Sorry if I sound kinda harsh at the beginning. I'm usually very harsh when trying to teach people things, especially towards my friends *gives friends some helpful but super harsh criticism that sounds insulting but is really just to help them improve and shows I care*
Anyway here is the line tutorial that got um secondish in the poll ^^;
Oh and I used that one picture of Rayne as a example cause I was lazy.
I also spotted a typo :(

I use thick outlines for the main attractions in artwork, such as major characters. I use the 1-pixel width for small details, and I make other lines just the same for even smaller details. However, I change the color to a darker shade of the color on which the line is situated if it is that minor.

Thick lines are 2-pixels thick. I rarely use anything thicker; it's too much for most of my art.

I still like viewing tutorials, even if they aren't of my program. The basic artistic elements are what I'm really looking for.

This lineart tutorial has a bad example at the bottom. But it's not that hard one you get a hang of it. Mainly perspective the thicker lines are for when the object is close up. :)

I've been doing it wrong the whole time! Good thing you did this before I unleashed a stampede of crap with legs.

Oh dear line art! XD I agree though, variety is good. Course I'm guilty of just drawing line art with none sometmes.

Oh yeah is that Crome giving the tutorial? Looks like him, cept if so ya forgot his scar. O.o XD

Nah it's Xon giving the tutorial. Crome would shoot the tutorial example Irken or stab it :lmao:
I admit I forget sometimes too with giving lines variety and drawing a background behind the character could become chaotic even if I turn the character layer off ^^;

Really? See the outfit was throwing me off but the head shape was saying another thing. XD Meh oh well, silly me.

Ugh backgrounds, my greatest enemy. I try to do variety but it does get crazy and sometimes the pen tool just hates my guts. XD That and I am terrible with the whole pressure thing...see when I talk to you I feel like such a noob XD

I think I made the tutorial Irken's head too big so it made Xon's eyes look super small like crome's ^^;
I use SAI for my pressure, it's very easy in that program. The PS pen tool I'm still fairly new at, but it's very sensitive to what you have you're brush set to. 2 months ago I was still pen tool retarded and didn't get the thing at all. My bg were also super ugly as well then O_o
